What information is there on the Marvel comic book adaption of Buckaroo Banzai (1984)?

One of the few merchandising efforts tied directly to TABB’s original release was a two issue comic book adaptation of the film produced by Marvel comics. Issue #1 bears a cover date of December of 1984, with #2 dated February of 1985.

The two issues were later collected under a single cover as Marvel Super Special #33. The Super Special version included an additional 16 page segment entitled "An Interview with the Director of BUCKAROO BANZAI, W.D. Richter" by James Burns, illustrated with numerous stills from the docudrama.

According to fellow Banzai enthusiast Scott Tate, the individual comic books have identical credits covering the core team responsible for producing the issues. Marvel Super Special #33 has the same basic information formatted slightly differently, and with some expansions to acknowledge more people involved with both the movie and the comic books. Scott also provided a transcription of the credits to all three publications. Below is a portion the credits provided by Scott, as they appear in Marvel Super Special #33 - acknowledging the folks at Marvel who worked on producing both the original two issues, as well as the combined re-issue:
