In February of 2006, Moonstone Books published a 16 page preview for a brand new Buckaroo Banzai comic book adapted by Joe Gentile from a 1999 draft of the Buckaroo Banzai: Ancient Secrets & New Mysteries pilot script “Supersize those Fries” written by Earl Mac Rauch.
Issue #1 was released in May 2006, Issue #2 in August 2006 and Issue #3 in November 2006.
Plans are currently in the works for a second comic book miniseries written by Rauch for a projected 2007 release. Moonstone’s website is located at http://www.moonstonebooks.com.
